Funniest Lindisfarne moment:During our run for The Anniversary the actress cast as Mum had obviously had a few drinks to steady her nerves; five minutes into the first night she forgot her lines. There was a silence and the prompt gave her the missing line; there was another silence and the prompt repeated thinking she had not heard it. I then heard her say “I heard you the first time!” A cringing moment but also a very funny one, the funniest moment in the entire play.

Trivia:

- Steve is the longest serving current Team member in Lindisfarne.

- Steve McCartney once played under the pseudonym Stephanie Martyn, A Crowing Hen (1996)

- The group always imitate Steve’s Irish accent especially when he’s directing, and usually very badly!

- The group often reference a joke Steve made in a pub to Rob Stow, using the accent, “There’s a bomb under your chair, get out now!”. Generally any mention of bomb or chair will set the group off.
